Fuel is a field of stars, fueled by network traffic. Stars emit energy, grow and collapse as quanta of traffic pass through them. Each star is an IP that is part of your network, or being accessed by your network - a burning entity whose position is determined by passing the host address through secure encryption. Every local network has a unique constellation of fixed and transient hosts. HELP WITH INSTALLATION: To install Fuel, download and run the installer, linked above. To run fuel on your computer, you must install the personal Carnivore client, CarnivorePE. You can download it by finding the CarnivorePE link here: http://www.rhizome.org/carnivore/ The Fuel application is written in Java. If it does not work on your computer, you need to download the Java VM here: http://www.java.com/en/download/ Please send screenshots of your site to be included in a gallery of constellations: scott@snibbe.com. |
