Gravilux 1.2 released: massive speedup and antialiasing
Wednesday, July 14th, 2010Gravilux 1.2 is now available in the app store. It features a massive speedup–up to a hundred times faster–even on old iPhone 3s. Try Gravilux with the maximum number of stars to get a true taste of the improvement. Also new is antialiased points: try very low gravity and notice how the points actually move at a finer resolution than the pixels on your display, moving between pixels. And several other interface refinements are featured in this version. See below for a gallery of color images from Gravilux 1.2.

Gravilux in the New York Times Magazine
Saturday, July 3rd, 2010The New York Times Magazine published a great article on creative apps for the iPad in its July 4 edition, easing the fears of those believing the iPad is a “consumer-only” device:
“Apps like Gravilux awaken an ‘Avatar’-like sensitivity to electricity in the body, power in the palms and general connectedness.”
