Hidden Geometries

Based on the ancient geometry underlying Tibetan Buddhist thangka paintings, the Hidden Geometries series includes time-based wall-mounted screens, digital prints, and paintings created with traditional Himalayan mineral pigments.

Dynamic Systems Series

Newly realized as large-screen social touch display experiences, the Dynamic Systems Series are screen-based artworks based on dynamic systems—mathematical models of natural phenomena. Each lets you touch an immaterial world that has consistent and predictable reactions, yet nature's infinite variety. Although there are few surprises when you visit a beach or pond, the experience is subtly different each time. Similarly, with these artworks one feels an instant and intuitive sense of presence and control, while spending more time provides greater reward—like a musical instrument. These pieces blur the line between artwork and art-making tool. The artwork is the set of rules, which construct a system of which the viewer is an essential part.
